The National Cancer Centre Singapore (NCCS) is dedicated to providing comprehensive, multidisciplinary and holistic cancer treatment and care. NCCS is home to the largest number of oncologists, surgeons and researchers in Southeast Asia and treats more than 145,000 patients each year. They partner with their patients in their cancer journey – to help them get higher quality treatment and care; enhance their chances of better survival; instill in them hope of regaining their health; and pave the way for cancer cures.
Community Cancer Fund
was set up by NCCS in 2005 to provide:
- Financial assistance for patients in need;
- Education and training of clinicians to improve patient care and develop skill sets in cancer prevention;
- Improvements in infrastructure, equipment and facilities to enhance patient care
Through your support in cancer research and cancer care, there is hope of overcoming the greatest threat to lives, accounting for more than 1 in 4 deaths in Singapore. Your contribution benefits not only to one patient but to a community of patients who may gain from the outcomes of better cancer care.
